More Project Cafe mockups

Much of the speculation surrounding Project Cafe indicates that the system’s controller will contain a screen, which could be used to stream games and other content. E3 is still a few weeks away, so we’re going to have to wait just a bit longer for Nintendo’s unveiling of the console. Be sure to check out a new round of Project Cafe mockup images below – most of which feature the console’s controller – as we continue to count down to E3.

Firebrand Games working on Need for Speed: The Run for Nintendo platforms
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
The Wii edition of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was pretty much an abomination. So it’s probably a good thing that EA is switching developers for the latest title in the franchise. Firebrand Games, well-known for their work on Trackmania for Nintendo platforms, is creating the Wii and 3DS versions of “The Run.” Firebrand certainly knows how to make a quality racer, so that should bode well for the latest Need for Speed games on Wii/3DS.

Japan receiving small shipment of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
If trusted Japanese blog Sinobi is to be believed, Nintendo won’t be shipping many copies of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D in Japan. The initial shipment batch is expected to be “extremely small” and stock availability will be limited for all retailers. To make matters worse, Nintendo is not taking game orders from any store.
For such a legendary franchise, this sounds odd, doesn’t it? One theory is that Nintendo is looking to avoid a quick price reduction, similar to the situation with The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. That title landed in bargain bins not too long after release.
