Sacred 2 (PS3) – 19k (83%)
Zangeki no Reginleiv (Wii) – 17k (52%)
Tennis no Oujisama ~More Sweet Edition~ (DS) – 16k (65%)

Sacred 2 (360) – 15k (87%)
Dragon Ball DS 2 (DS) – 11k (17%)
Lupin the 3rd: Shijou Saidai no Tounousen (DS) – 7k (40%)

SOCOM Portable (PSP) – 5k (36%)
Madworld (Wii) – 5k (25%)

There hasn’t been a first day sales leak in awhile, and I can’t confirm that these numbers are 100% correct. None of them are too surprising, though, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were the real deal.

[PS3] MAG ~150K
[PS3] Darksiders ~130K
[360] Bayonetta ~100K
[PS3] Bayonetta ~60K
[Wii] Tatsunoko vs. Capcom ~50K
[Wii] No More Heroes 2 ~25K

[All] Dark Void – 22K

These figures are not confirmed, but they do look like they are fairly accurate. EEDAR recently shared the news that No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle sold about 30,000 units in its first week. Based on the official data released by the NPD as well as the top 20 rankings we posted today, the numbers above don’t seem to be too far off. If they are true, I think that most Wii owners would agree that Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is off to a pretty good start.

“Right now we are working on a title that could end up on the Wii, but it is too early to say for sure.” – artistic design of Max and The Magic Marker, Lasse Outzen

I was just talking WiiWare games lately in our last post, and Max and The Magic Marker looks like it’ll fall into the category of must-play WiiWare titles. I’d definitely love to see Press Play bring their next project to Wii.

“The game is finished, and for various reasons, not yet released. We’ve wanted to compensate the delay with improved graphics and extra contents. It goes on sale in Europe, USA and Japan at least in March 2010. The date isn’t clear yet because it’s no longer up to us.” – Jose Manuel from Akaoni Studio

Zombie Panic in Wonderland is one WiiWare game in particular I’ve been looking forward to. WiiWare in general has actually been pretty great the past few months and it looks like there are other great titles on the way.

First trailers for new WiiTM and Nintendo DSTM games premiere
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has released the first trailer and assets for its forthcoming Gormiti: The Lords of Nature! title for Wii and Nintendo DS. The game also made its first public appearance on the Giochi Preziosi/Gormiti event at the International Toy Fair Nürnberg in Germany which was held between February 4th-9th.

Gormiti: The Lords of Nature! will be released across Europe in Q3 2010, and uses characters and locations from the popular Gormiti TV show co-produced by Marathon Media & Giochi Preziosi. The game recreates the beautifully illustrated island of Gorm, where the Lords of Earth, Sea, Air and Forest are charged with stopping the evil Magmion from wreaking havoc.

Players who Preorder and Purchase Upcoming Wii™ Exclusive From GameStop and EB Games Will Receive a Bonus CD Containing Select Tracks from the Game Soundtrack

Torrance, Calif., (February 12, 2010) – XSEED Games revealed today that players who preorder FRAGILE DREAMS: FAREWELL RUINS OF THE MOON from GameStop and EB Games will receive a copy of MOONLIGHT TRACKS, a special selection of 12 tracks from the game including the opening and ending Japanese theme songs. The MOONLIGHT TRACKS special preorder bonus will be available exclusively at GameStop and EB Games together with the retail release of the game, but only while supplies last. Developed by NAMCO BANDAI Games and tri-Crescendo, FRAGILE DREAMS: FAREWELL RUINS OF THE MOON will be available in North America in March 2010, exclusively for Wii™.

The North American release has also been confirmed as containing the original Japanese voices in addition to the newly recorded English voice-overs, as well as a newly created “Extras” option that becomes available once the game has been cleared. This new mode allows players to revisit key event movies from the game in the movie gallery, view concept art, and watch the original Japanese trailers. As an added bonus, FRAGILE DREAMS: FAREWELL RUINS OF THE MOON will also feature a dual-sided box front, with the original Japanese box front on the reverse side.

Marked by a remarkably haunting score, FRAGILE DREAMS: FAREWELL RUINS OF THE MOON finds protagonist Seto exploring an eerie and abandoned world, seemingly populated only by haunting ghosts and demons. As this lonely and lost soul, players encounter memorable characters, and discover the back story behind scavenged items that provide insight into the population’s last days before a devastating apocalypse. Amidst this strangely beautiful atmosphere, players utilize the Wii Remote™ as a flashlight to illuminate Seto’s surroundings, solve puzzles and interact with the bleak, devastated environment, set to a moving, emotional soundtrack.
