Leaves

So far, Animal Crossing: City Folk owners have been treated to bit of free DLC, ranging from a Pikmin hat to a DS couch, but the most recent might take the cake for most… nonchalant? A pile of leaves was announced to be the DLC for fall in City Folk. While it may fit the season, the actual content is simply a pile of leaves that sits in your house, not really doing much (or looking good.)

Make sure you have WiiConnect24 powered on from September 25th to October 9th if you want the “gift”.

Activision has officially released the list of up and coming track packs for October, and featured artists include Queens of the Stone Age, Billy Squier and Wolfmother. In addition, there will be themed collections later in the month. Each pack will cost 550 Wii Points, and tracks will also be sold separately for the respective console’s $2 equivalent. Check out the full list of artists, tracks and release dates here

“Unfortunately, like many other publishers, we didn’t have a booth at the TGS this year. As you know the market is tough at the moment and Marvelous decided to save the money for other investments.” – Tami Otto, Marvelous

This is really too bad to hear. I’m sure many people that attended TGS would have loved to see Marvelous at the event, though, investing their money elsewhere (perhaps making more quality titles?) certainly isn’t a poor choice.
