Cook and Deliver a Plethora of Pizzas In This Tasty Title Due Out Winter 2010
EDISON, N.J., November 11, 2009 – Rev up your scooter and deliver big profits in Pizza Delivery Boy from Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL), an innovative provider of video games for the mass market. This unique Wii™ action title lets players use the Wii Remote™ as an all-in-one kitchen utensil and driving wheel to cook and deliver pizzas to hungry customers in three bustling towns. Players must beware, though, as a number of obstacles stand between them and the coveted title of Pizza Boy of the Year!
“Pizza Delivery Boy combines made-to-order pizza preparation with fast and furious driving that delivers on fun,” said Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations for Majesco. “Wii owners can look forward to an addictive experience that mixes two proven gameplay mechanics into one unique entertainment product.”
– The K in Project K stands for Keroro
– Keroro is from the manga/anime series (Sgt. Frog)
– Full title is Keroro RPG: Kishi to Musha to Densetsu no Kaizoku
– Namco Tales Studios developing the game (devs of the Tales games)
– Linear Motion Battle system
– Sgt. Keroro is back in town, just got a unique game machine, when he boots it up, monsters are transported from the game to the real world
– Meanwhile, 5 Keroro Platoon members get transported into the game
– Control Keroro, platoon members in the game
– Game takes place in the game world
– Worlds such as pirate ship, desert, Japanese area in the game
– Many conversation scenes (with anime-like portraits)
– Will include voice-overs
– Fight from the side, 2D enemies, can use special attacks (transforms some Platoon members)
– More aerial combos/connected combos in this game compared to other Tales games (could end up staying in the air)
– By touching character panels on the touch screen, a support character can help you out in battle (attack enemies, heal you)
– Ryuji Odate (Tales of Versus) is the producer, Hidenori Yamauchi in charge of the Linear Motion Battle System
– Odate told Famitsu that the team wanted to make a true Keroro Gunso RPG and to show the LMBS system to children
– Releasing in 2010
– 60% complete
