Wakedas, a new puzzle game from the developer behind Witch & Hero, will be released on August 22 in North America. A European date has not yet been confirmed.

Publisher Circle Entertainment hasn’t shared any official details or screenshots for Wakedas. However, the company promises an official update this week.

Two Tribes is bringing a new game to the eShop this year. Actually, rather than “new”, we should probably say “existing” – which was confirmed on Twitter.

The rest is shrouded in mystery. I don’t believe Two Tribes gave a clear indication about which one of the eShops the game will be out for.

Shovel Knight will be appearing in Two Brothers, it has been confirmed. Ackk Studios, the team behind Two Brothers, shared the news in a Facebook post made earlier today.

It would appear that Shovel Knight’s appearance goes beyond a simple cameo. Two Brothers characters Roy and Bivare “will be getting help” from the main star of Yacht Club Games’ title.

Just a few days after SteamWorld Dig hit the 3DS eShop, developer Image & Form has confirmed that a new game in the series will be made for the platform.

The company recently said:

“You’re asking for follow-up on SteamWorld Dig and I’m happy to tell you that as of yesterday, thanks to the overwhelming response and a relieved sense of having a potential big hit, we decided to forge ahead on the next project in the series. SteamWorld is here to stay, and we’ll stay on the 3DS.”

I wouldn’t expect to hear details on this new game anytime soon, but at least we know that the 3DS will be getting more SteamWorld love!

We have one additional to share about 3D Streets of Rage (3D Bare Knuckle). In the game, players can enable a special “One Hit Deathblow Mode”. As the name implies, this lets you defeat enemies with just a single attack.

3D Bare Knuckle (otherwise known as 3D Streets of Rage) is coming to Japan later this month, SEGA confirmed today. The game will be available on the 3DS eShop on August 21 for 600 yen.

You know the drill by now: 3D Bare Knuckle will feature full 3D stereoscopic visuals, the ability to save anywhere, and settings for controls, display, and audio. Two users can also play together through local play.

The official Japanese website can be found here.

Nintendo of Europe delayed the release of Flipnote Studio 3D last week following “unexpectedly high levels of user activity since the launch of the application in Japan”. Similarly, the download has been pushed back in North America. The official Flipnote Studio 3D website now lists “TBD” as the US release date.
