3DS eShop

Nekketsu Koukou Dodgeball-bu will be hitting the Japanese eShop as a Famicom download on March 6 for 500 yen. Screenshots of the game can be found above.

Japan’s Wii U eShop is rather barren at present. A few retail games are up for download as well as the free-to-play Tank! Tank! Tank! version, but it’s lacking original indie content.

Arc System Works will be improving the situation by publishing Nano Assault Neo in Japan. This will be the Japanese store’s first indie Wii U eShop game.

Interestingly, without a Japanese publisher, developers can’t release their games on the 3DS or Wii U eShop.

Shin’en announced last week that Nano Assault EX had been approved for release in North America. It has now been approved in Europe as well.

A tweet from Shin’en reads:

No word yet on a release date, but we should be hearing something soon.

WayForward isn’t quite ready to provide a blowout of information for Mighty Switch Force 2, but director Austin Ivansmith did share a few nuggets on the latest “Sup, Holmes?” show.

Mighty Switch Force 2 will see the return of Patricia Wagon. But this time around, it seems as though she could be heading down a new career path. Jake “Virt” Kaufman will be in charge of the game’s soundtrack once again.

For now, Mighty Switch Force 2 has a tentative Q1/Q2 release date. Pricing will be “reasonable” and “in the ballpark of the original”.

WayForward’s Austin Ivansmith has confirmed Mighty Switch Force 2. The news was announced during the latest “Sup Holmes” show. After making an appearance on Wii U, the Switch Force series will be returning to the 3DS.

A release date for Might Switch Force 2 hasn’t been set. It is, however, due in just a few months. Look out for more news “in the coming weeks.”
