3DS

You can now purchase a refurbished 3DS or DSi system directly from Nintendo.

Nintendo says on its page that “Authentic Nintendo Refurbished Products are the only refurbished products in the market that have been cleaned, tested, and inspected to meet Nintendo’s high standards.” All purchases come with a one-year warranty, and can only be bought directly from the Big N.

These systems “are guaranteed to be fully functional”, according to Nintendo, though may carry “minor cosmetic blemishes.”

You can find more information on the official page here.

A new Pokemon-themed 3DS XL system will be announced for Japan in a few weeks. When the news first hit, rumors circulated that the design would be based on Eevee.

It looks like this will indeed be the case. A poster located at the Pokemon Center close to Minato-ku today states that the 3DS XL Eevee model will be revealed next month.

We’ll know for sure on May 15, when the new 3DS XL system will be officially announced.

Family Gamer TV’s Andy Robertson has come across a glitch that allows LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins players to easily find all outfit missions in the game.

Here’s the trick:

As you can see in this video, a glitch in Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins lets you cruise around the city on top of a car to discover all the side-quests. When driving a car normally the scanner icon, which flashes when a side-quest is nearby, is not available. However using this “car surfing” glitch you can keep an eye on the scanner while touring the city and sort out all those needy citizens.

A big part of the challenge to completing the game is scanning for the different side-missions for each of the different outfits he wears. This handy trick should set you well on your way to tracking down those hard to find missions.

If you reaaaally want to take the fun out of things, you can try taking advantage of the glitch above.
