More Project X Zone cameos confirmed

Two more cameo appearances have been confirmed for Project X Zone. Mega Man X4’s Iris and .hack’s Aura will show up during the adventure. Iris will specifically appear during event scenes.

Transfer 3DS save data between physical/downloadable games early next year

Starting on November 1, Nintendo will make eight older 3DS retail games available on the Japanese eShop.

So let’s say you have the physical version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. What happens if you want to make the switch to digital? What happens to the save data?

Obviously the save data is tied to the 3DS cart, so it wouldn’t work with the downloadable version. In spring of next year, however, Nintendo will release a tool that allows users to transfer data between their physical and downloadable copies.
