A few more Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney tidbits

As the title implies, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney makes use of two protagonists and two differing gameplay elements.
In the court room, you’ll play as Phoenix Wright. The game also has a town to explore. In these segments, the action will shift to Professor Layton and sidekick Luke.
Famitsu says that the two characters will explore Labyrinth City Nazo, and you’ll be able to converse with townsfolk. These areas make use of a 3D visuals and a graphical style similar to that of Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.
Other news from Famitsu:
– Bones is working on animation
– Bones previously worked on Eureka Seven and Soul Eater
– There is a “W Protagonist System” in which you’ll need to solve crimes

Magician’s Quest game announced for 3DS

Konami made two Magician’s Quest games for the DS. These titles featured a visual style comparable to that of Animal Crossing, and offered communication, life simulation, and fantasy elements.
The first entry was localized for North America and Europe. As far as I’m aware, the second one stayed in Japan.
Konami will soon have another opportunity to bring the series back to the west. According to this week’s Famitsu, Magician’s Quest is heading to the 3DS. Actual details haven’t been leaked from the magazine, but it doesn’t look like a release date is included in the issue.

Remember Famitsu’s Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney puzzle from last week’s issue? As it turns out, the original release date speculation based on the ad was spot on.
Famitsu confirms this week that Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney will be available in Japan on November 29. Pricing information has not made it out of the magazine.
