Renegade Kid has already said that Mutant Mudds’ extra PC content, known as the “Grannie” levels, should be heading to the 3DS soon. The studio has since wrapped up its work on the bonus levels for the 3DS version, and they could be out within four to six weeks.

Nintendo will now review and test the new content. Once that’s done, the Big N will determine when the update will be made available for 3DS owners.

Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham tweeted earlier today:

“All 60 Mutant Mudds levels tested/completed. Looks like this game is nearly ready for eShop prime-time! Nearly = 4 to 6 weeks btw. Mudds needs to go through Nintendo testing and then get in the queue for update/release.”

We’ve been covering Capcom’s stylish Lost Planet spin-off E.X. Troopers for quite some time now. Sadly, it looks like the game will be staying in Japan.

Writing on the company’s official forums about possible localization, Capcom’s Christian Svensson said:

“Guys, I have no news to share on that front right now. Sorry.”

In a different thread, Svensson noted that there aren’t “plans to bring it Westward at this time.”

Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword was released on the Japanese eShop in late 2011 and on the North American store earlier this year. After many months of waiting, the game may finally be heading to Europe as well.

The OFLC has rated “Hana Samurai: Art of the Sword”. That sure sounds like Sakura Samurai! Aside from the small name change, it looks like the game will end up on the European/Australian eShops soon.

A third Fire Emblem: Awakening “Ultimate Training” DLC episode will be released in Japan on September 13.

In the latest DLC, top secret military information has been stolen, and it’s up to Krom to retrieve it and chase down the perpetrator.

Players will need to chase a target, though you’ll have to take down a few enemies since it won’t be clear which Revenant is the true enemy. Impeding your way are walls that will automatically open and close during each turn.

The next Ultimate Training DLC, titled “Another Story: Labyrinth Pursuit”, can be purchased for 250 yen.
