April 2015 NPD: Xenoblade Chronicles 3D sold under 75,000 copies
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in New Nintendo 3DS, News | 17 Comments
Xenoblade Chronicles 3D debuted on the New 3DS last month as the system’s first “exclusive” game. How did it perform on the market?
Xenoblade Chronicles 3D didn’t make the top ten NPD chart, but Nintendo said it was the fifth best-selling game in the U.S. during April if you do not combine sales for platforms. Thanks to “creamsugar”, who often leaks sales data, it’s also now known that the game sold under 75,000 copies.
All things considered, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D sold fine. The New 3DS has a very small userbase, and Xenoblade is more of a niche game. It’s also a port of a game that’s a few years old.
Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Nintendo hasn’t shared any specific figures about its hardware or games for the month of April in the United States, but GamesBeat was able to obtain a few tidbits from the company.
According to the site’s report:
Through the first four months of 2014, the 3DS’s sales have increased by 65 percent compared to the same four-month period in 2014. For the Wii U, it is up 15 percent in the first four months of 2015 compared to that period in 2014.

Marth amiibo restocks appear to be extremely limited
Posted on 9 years ago by Kirara Koneko(@KiraraKoneko) in New Nintendo 3DS, News, Wii U | 4 Comments
We have been seeing Marth amiibo restocks trickling in so far this May. Amazon has momentarily had some available, so quick in fact there wasn’t even time to get the news out. Now GameStop seems to be plagued with the same issue. Reports are currently indicating that although select GameStop’s are seeing Marth amiibo’s restocked, they are only receiving one or two per location. At this time the best course of action would probably be to call or stop in to your local shop and see if they have any available. Currently there is no confirmation of whether Marth will be made available on their website but stay tuned for more details.
