If you really, really, really want to clear your Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, there is a solution. It’s just not a natural method.
The NDS Adaptor Plus is designed allows users to back up save data on a PC. It works for all DS and 3DS products. You can also use the tool to completely wipe out save data. So yes, there is a way to remove data in Mercenaries 3D and other 3DS games that force permasaves. No, it’s not the most ideal solution, but hey, it works!

More Super Mario 3D power-ups to be revealed, including familiar suits

To no one’s surprise, Nintendo finally confirmed that the Tanooki Suit will be appearing in Super Mario 3D at E3 last month. We’ve also seen Fire Mario in the game. If you’ve been hoping that Nintendo will be including even more familiar power-ups, then you’ll probably be delighted to hear what Super Mario director Yoshiaki Koizumi told the Official Nintendo Magazine:
“I can’t reveal the actual number of power-ups in the game right now, but suffice to say that we do try to include enough so that people can enjoy a variety of different kinds of play experiences in the title. Also, I should point out that we don’t necessarily decide on what number of famous Mario suits will appear in the game and proceed from there – we try to find interesting gameplay ideas and then try to settle on what to do in different places. But I can say that we will definitely have some more familiar suits than just the Tanooki Suit.”
There really are a whole slew of suits Nintendo could bring back for Super Mario 3D? Any ones in particular you guys would like to see? Feel free to share ideas for new suits you have in mind as well!

Yoshizumi shares Tales of the Abyss 3DS sales expectations, wants more Tales on the system

Tales of the Abyss 3DS was released in Japan last week. So first week sales data for the title should be available in just a few days, courtesy of Media Create. In the end though, Namco Bandai’s Makoto Yoshizumi expects Abyss to sell 250,000 copies in Japan. That’s what he told website Kingdom of Tales. Yoshizumi also said that he’d like to work on more Tales games for 3DS.
“Well, I’d say 250 000 copies. We also hope we will be able to release more Tales games on 3DS.”

As the YouTube title suggests, the game is being played on Dolphin. So it does look a bit better than what you’d see on your television. But man, it looks fantastic… and it plays well, too!
