– Each general has certain skills/abilities
– Who you can select is based on the scenario

– From Schell Games
– Loosely based on the Chinese historical saga Romance of the Three Kingdoms
– Take on the role of a young citizen of the Jelly Kingdoms
– Choose your name and gender
– You get kicked out of the village
– Gameplay is a mix of brain-teasing puzzles and adventure aspects
– Interact with the touch screen
– Slide tiles around an eight-by-eight grid
– As you drag a tile through the rest of the group it will swap positions with other tiles
– Need to form clusters of four or more like tiles
– This will cause your hero to perform actions on the top screen
– Weapon tiles include swords, crossbows, halberds
– Weapon tiles will cause your character to attack enemies at different ranges
– Health-potion titles: restore some of your life energy
– Shield tiles: Block enemy attacks
– Can create clusters of elemental magic tiles that don’t do anything on their own, but can increase attacks with powers like fire (damage over time) or thunder (paralyze foes)
– Waves of turn-based battles await you in each stage
– Trickier enemies and powerful bosses as you progress
– Some bosses will require new strategies
– Chi meter rises when you make tile clusters
– Use the chi’s power to turn tough battles in your favor by shuffling the board, healing yourself, or unleashing the fury of the heavens on your enemies
– Meet heroes and villains
– Historical characters from Romance of the Three Kingdoms like Guan Yu and Liu Bei will be your guides
– They’ll help you face off against threats like corrupt court officials, the mystical and rebellious Zhang brothers, a dastardly warlord
– Releasing early next year

– Development may have started in April

Ubisoft Montreal

– Another LinkedIn profile listing
– From Lawrence Hum (programmer)
– Apparently has been in development for three years
– May have been a DS game originally

Canceled Ubisoft 3DS game

– News from a LinkedIn profile again
– Game designer was brainstorming/developing mini-games for an unnamed 3DS title
– Development was short (started in February, ended in March)
– Designer now making Michael Jackson: The Experience for Nintendo DS and PSP

Last but not least, we can see that 3DSWare has been trademarked in Europe…
