SAN MATEO, CA — April 20, 2010 — Capcom®, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced three blockbuster titles for 2011, including the long-awaited Marvel® vs. Capcom® 3: Fate of Two Worlds, Okamiden™ and Bionic Commando® Rearmed 2. Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds: After a decade of waiting, iconic Marvel and Capcom characters join forces again in a re-envisioned team fighting game for a new generation. Fill the shoes of legendary characters from the most beloved franchises in entertainment as you battle in a comic book brought to life powered by Capcom’s MT Framework. Get set for the ultimate faceoff when Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds hits PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in spring 2011.


“It’s a surprise – we were expecting it much closer to Christmas. But I suppose it gives Nintendo the opportunity to get it front and centre in people’s minds nice and early. In my experience, you don’t launch a product that early to Christmas unless you’re confident in it – and going to spend a lot of money on it. It would make sense for Nintendo to release the 3DS in time for the holiday season. And when Nintendo first announced the system, we heard that it will launch before March 2011. I’d like to hear an official confirmation before I fully believe anything, though!
