Freedom Wars Remastered

Nintendo has updated the Japanese release schedule on Nintendo Switch for the week of January 9, 2025. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital download schedule:


Antipaint

Antipaint came to PC a little while back to a strong reception, and a Nintendo Switch version is now confirmed to be int he works. The port is “coming soon”.

Antipaint is a roguelike shooter with plenty of action. The title has players battling famous works of art, and after defeating each one, they’ll join your collection.

Arcade Archives Castle of Dragon

Hamster never takes a week off from adding to its Arcade Archives series, and the company has now announced Castle of Dragon as its latest release. The game launches tomorrow, January 2.

Publisher Valkyrie Initiative and developer DoubleTap are working on Blades For Hire for Nintendo Switch, they’ve announced. The project is planned for a 2025 debut.

Blades For Hire is a strategy game in which players lead a mercenary guild. Various elements are included such as directing mercenaries, managing finances, and more.

Sedap: A Culinary Adventure

Kopiforge will be putting Sedap: A Culinary Adventure on Nintendo Switch, the developer has announced. The game initially launches for PC on March, but it looks like the console versions will follow later.

Sedap is a cooking-combat adventure game in which players will go on a culinary journey through a fantastical reimagination of Southeast Asia. Thanks to co-op support, you can experience the whole thing with a friend.

Machina of the Farthest

Publishers Room6 and Yokaze, along with developer Ozumikan, have announced plans to bring Machina of the Farthest to Switch. The game launches in 2025.

Machina of the Farthest is officially described as a “warping-boomerang 2D action game”. Players will travel to the world’s end as Machina, who goes on a journey to recover her lost memories.

Pokemon Unite 1.17.1.5 update

Another update is here for Pokemon Unite and players can access version 1.17.1.5.

The update features Holowear Stage Style: Pikachu, a battle pass level cap, and more. That’s in addition to the regular wave of balance adjustments.

Star Trek: Legends, one of the few notable eShop releases during Christmas week, has received new gameplay. You can check out just over a half hour of footage.
