A launch trailer has been released to coincide with the debut of Captain Blood. After it was originally in the works in the 2010s but was scrapped after the original publisher went bankrupt, it’s now finally here fifteen years later.

December 25: Wolf Team’s classic game Final Zone will soon be making an appearance on Nintendo Switch, an eShop listing reveals. It will launch on January 17, 2025.
Final Zone is an isometric shooter that originally debuted in 1990. The Nintendo Switch version comes with a gallery, a jukebox, support for rewind/turbo, and cheats.

Bearnard launch trailer – retro puzzle platformer with turn-based card combat on Nintendo Switch

Thanks to Untold Tales, the launch trailer for Bearnard is now available. Nintendo Switch just received the 8-bit action adventure game which includes turn-based combat, archery, and card combat.

Deltarune confirms cross-buy for Nintendo Switch 1 and 2

Deltarune will have full cross-buy support on Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, creator Toby Fox has confirmed.
If you pick up the game on Nintendo’s current console, that means you’ll be able to grab it for no extra cost on Switch 2. The same applies the other way around. Essentially, you only need to buy it once – as long as you use the same Nintendo Account.

February 5: M2, in collaboration with Taito, today announced that Operation Night Strikers will be seeing release on Nintendo Switch. The collection is due out in 2025.
Operation Night Strikers contains four games in total. You’ll get Operation Wolf, Operation Thunderbolt, Night Striker, and Space Gun here. Various features are also included such as filters, the ability to save and load at any point, and more.

Today, Bureau 81 announced a new Nintendo Switch version of The Operation. It’ll be ready to go on May 22, 2025.
The Operator is an award winning conspiracy puzzler. In the game, you’ll use detective skills to assist field agents and investigate mysterious crimes as they dig for clues, solve puzzles, and uncover the truth.

Tomb Raider tables joining Pinball FX

Pinball FX has revealed new tables coming to the game with a new Tomb Raider collaboration. A release is planned for June 19, 2025.
Tomb Raider Pinball: Adventures of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider Pinball: Secrets of Croft Manor will be available. Those who play on Nintendo Switch will be able to grab the new content as DLC.

The 3D paper crafted collectathon PaperKlay has just been announced to make its way to Nintendo Switch. A release date has not yet been detailed.
Solo developed and published by WhyKev, PaperKlay is a 3D platformer where you play as the duo Chick & Nugget journeying across a crafted world to find the lost eggs. The game also features notable talents such as composer Grant Kirkhope (Banjo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee), voice actor Kevin Miller (Sly Cooper), and more.

Whitethorn Games, along with North Star Video Games, set a release date for the new Nintendo Switch version of Spray Paint Simulator. It’ll be out on June 19, 2025.
The game, which has players looking to become the best spray painter the town of Spatterville has ever seen as they build their business from the ground up, was just confirmed for Nintendo’s console last month. Technically there’s a slight delay on the system – other platforms will be getting it later this month.
