Hauntii release date set for May, new trailer

Firestoke and Moonloop Games today shared the final release date for Hauntii. The game arrives for Switch on May 23, 2024.
Hauntii was originally unveiled last August. We knew it was slated for 2024, but we didn’t have a more specific beyond that until today.

Today, publisher Kwalee and developer Powersnake announced Voidwrought. The game is targeting release for later in 2024.

Across the Obelisk gets surprise release on Switch

Across the Obelisk, which first came out in 2021, is coming to consoles for the first time – starting with a surprise Switch launch today.
Across the Obelisk is a cooperative deck-building game from Dreamsite Games. With cross-play support, Switch and PC users can form parties and play together.
The Gap, sci-fi thriller and first-person exploration game, heading to Switch

February 22: After its initial release towards the end of last year, The Gap is now coming to Switch. Label This has announced that the title will be hitting Nintendo’s console in March.
The Gap is a sci-fi thriller and first-person exploration game. Players will take on the role of a neuroscientist while exploring parallel worlds and trying to find a cure for his family’s illness.

Adventure RPG Maliki: Poison of the Past announced for Switch

Publisher Ankama, in collaboration with developer Blue Banshee, today announced Maliki: Poison of the Past. The game does not currently have a release window, but is planned for Switch.
Maliki: Poison of the Past is an adventure RPG with turn-based combat and exploration. It’s inspired by the comic book of the same name, which received eight volumes that sold over 300,000 copies worldwide.

SteamWorld Build gets “Mechanical Meadows” update

A new “Mechanical Meadows” update just dropped for SteamWorld Build.
This is a seasonal patch for the game that ushers in spring. It comes with 11 player placeable decors, 5 environment decors, 10 mine decors, 3 agent decors, 1 tumbleweed, and 1 custom light and post.
Loretta release date set for April, new trailer

Loretta now has a release date on Switch. According to an eShop listing, publisher Dangen Entertainment and developer Yakov Butuzoff will be putting it out on April 11, 2024.
Loretta was originally announced for Switch in June 2022. At the time, there was no word about launch timing.

[Interview] Botany Manor’s creative director discusses upcoming game’s narrative, inspiration

Back in 2022, a cozy-looking first-person puzzle game named Botany Manor was highlighted during one of Nintendo’s Indie World showcases. I had an opportunity to preview the game at PAX West last year, and enjoyed its gardening-based puzzles and the warmth of its lush locale.
