The Legend of Santa

Publisher Plow Games and developer Bringle Family Entertainment have announced The Legend of Santa for Switch, and it’s arriving very soon. It’ll be available on October 28, 2024.

The Legend of Santa combines side-scrolling platforming action with Christmas and Halloween adventure aspects while also featuring up to four-player co-op. Mario definitely looks to be an inspiration here as well. 

Killing Time Resurrected release date

We’ve been waiting to hear about a release date for Killing Time: Resurrected, but it looks like the game isn’t very far off. The game popped up on the eShop with a new listing, which pins it down for October 17, 2024.

Killing Time: Resurrected, which was announced for Switch in June, brings back the classic first-person shooter. Nightdive reworked the visuals for this edition.

Doom Doom II update 1.0.3

Bethesda started distribution of the first update for the recently-released version of Doom + Doom II on Switch, and version 1.0.3 is now available.

The update brings along various requested improvements and fixes. For instance, cheats can now be activated from the pause menu.

Son of a Gun

Publisher Untold Tales, in partnership with developer Crank Goblin, today announced the upcoming release of Son of a Gun for Switch. Fans can pick it up on October 11, 2024.

Son of a Gun is a retro-inspired twin-stick shooter inspired by 80’s classics in both look and story. You’ll play as an interplanetary mercenary called in when firepower matters and something needs to be solved by force.

Soul Stalker

Soul Stalker will launch on Switch this month, an eShop listing confirms. It’ll be ready to go on October 24, 2024.

If the name Soul Stalker sounds familiar, that’s because we reported on it when Premium Edition Games announced its upcoming slate of Switch physical releases. Now we know that the game will be launching digitally first in a matter of weeks.

The Case of the Golden Idol Redux update

The team behind The Case of the Golden Idol has revealed a new Redux version that will be launching on Switch. It will be available on October 10, 2024.

If you already have the game, it will be automatically updated to the Redux edition. The original release will be removed from the eShop and replaced for new players.

Stilt Fella

Stilt Fella originally released on PC in 2020 where it gained a good amount of popularity, and now we’ll be seeing it on Switch. Pineapple Works is handling the port in partnership with September Games.

Stilt Fella is a physics-based arcade game with over 50 levels. You can find a bit of additional information in the following overview:

While We Wait Here release date

While We Wait Here has received a release date. According to an eShop listing, the game launches on October 23, 2024.

It’s been about a year since While We Wait Here was announced for Switch. We knew it’d be coming sometime in 2024, but when exactly was unclear until today.

Ties: Soul Link

North Tokyo is working on a Switch version of Ties: Soul Link, the studio confirmed today. As of now a release window has not yet been decided.

Ties: Soul Link is a 2D Metroidvania game that combines RPG action with platforming adventures. The game features a story about a decaying world set in the year 2097.

Tinkertown

September 19: Headup is working to put Tinkertown on Switch, the company has announced. It will be available in November.

Tinkertown is a multiplayer sandbox adventure game. There are a number of different things to do and see, including crafting equipment, collecting resources, and battling enemies.
