The latest Nintendo Switch eShop charts for the week of March 8, 2025 are now available.
This really shouldn’t be much of a surprise, but it’s again Super Mario Party Jamboree coming out on top. If we had to guess, things will stay that way until the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition later in the month. It’s also worth mentioning that Pokemon Legends: Arceus is here – perhaps it received a bump following Pokemon Day and the full reveal of Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

March 3: Material Evidence will release on Nintendo Switch this week, publisher Ratalaika Games and developer 9Ratones have announced. It’s due out on March 7, 2025.
Material Evidence is a hard-hitting action game that tasks players with cleaning up the streets of gang warfare. The title features three playable characters, a couple of difficulty modes, and more.

Today, Dolores Entertainment and Meatbread shared the news that it’s working on a Nintendo Switch version of Amber Alert. Details about launch timing weren’t provided.
Amber Alert is a survival horror game. After responding to a late-night call, you find a sinister cult of women abductors and you go on a mission to rescue a captive girl.

December 24: Success Corporation is working on Ghost Traveler: Adventures in Edo for Nintendo Switch, the company has announced. It will be available sometime in 2025.
Ghost Traveler: Adventures in Edo is a mystery visual novel at its core. You’ll play as a 17-year-old boy who finds himself in a supernatural event and wakes up in Edo period Japan.

Leila will be launching on Nintendo Switch, publisher Astrolabe Games and developer Ubik Studios confirmed today. A release is scheduled for April 17, 2025.
Leila is a point-and-click adventure game with hard-drawn animation. You’ll explore the past of a woman’s life and complete puzzles to learn about the motives behind her life decisions.

Cookie Cutter Overkill Edition announced for Nintendo Switch [update: release date, new trailer]

February 27: After it originally launched at the end of 2023, Cookie Cutter is receiving a new version for Nintendo Switch with its Overkill Edition. The game launches this spring.
Rogue Games hasn’t explained what’s new here, but the company is teasing “new content and gameplay features.” The title itself is an action adventure experience in which you play as Cherry, who’s on a blood-soaked quest for revenge.

Infogrames, along with Sand Castles Studio, today shared details about a big “Laboratory” update planned for Bread & Fred.
The update doubles the game’s content with the inclusion of a new 666-meter map. It comes with its own mechanics, NPCs and lore, plus a bunch of new puzzle rooms and secret capybaras. The free content can be accessed after completing the base game in multiplayer to scale to new heights in co-op mode.

Electrogical is getting a Nintendo Switch version, publisher Phoenixx and developer Kinjo shared today. It will be available sometime in 2025.
Electrogical is an arithmetic-based jigsaw puzzle game. It’s been in Early Access on PC, and is now adding new content with twenty-five new challenge stages, seven new trial stages featuring mysterious mechanics for an added twist, and quality-of-life and accessibility updates like improved sound effects and the addition of German and Russian language options.

Europe’s best-selling Nintendo Switch digital games for February 2025 – Civilization 7 debuts

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for February 2025.
Civilization 7 is the one new game here, which debuts at #12. Hello Kitty Island Adventure has proven extremely popular in North America, and similarly, that’s proven to be the case in Europe as well with the game taking the top spot.
