Floatopia announced for Switch

During today’s Gamescom: Opening Night Live presentation, Floatopia was revealed for multiple platforms, including Switch. It’s set to arrive in 2025.
Floatopia, coming from NetEase Games, is a life sim. Players can travel among super-powered worlds to craft their island and engage with friends.

King of Meat announced for Switch

At Gamescom 2024 today, publisher Amazon Games and developer Glowmade announced King of Meat. The title does not currently have a release window, but will be made available on Switch.
King of Meat is an online co-op spectacle that supports up to four players. The game features hacking, slashing, and combat elements with a Dungeon Create Mode.

Soundfall update out now, adds Arena Mode and more

We’ve got a heads up for Soundfall players, as a big update dropped on Switch today featuring Arena Mode and more.
Arena Mode is an intense, single-room horde-style battle. This is similar to the final mission of each region in Story Mode, but now available as an option when playing any track from the Free Play menu.
Lots of other content has been added as well. This includes a ton of new songs and more.

Turn-based strategy game Thermonuclear hitting Switch this week

Roguelite RPG city-builder EcoGnomix announced for Switch

Publisher Untold Games, in collaboration with Irox Games, today announced EcoGnomix for Switch. A release is planned for later in 2024.
EcoGnomix features a mix of roguelite RPG and city builder gameplay. Players will build a lively little city above by looting mystical caves with a team of gnomes below. The roguelite aspect comes into play as multiple runs are needed to unlock upgrades and abilities, which in turns allows for deeper exploration.

Adventure game Island of Winds announced for Switch

Today, publisher ESDigital Games and developer Parity Games confirmed that they’re working on Island of Winds for Switch. It will be available in 2025.
Island of Winds is an adventure game in which players will experience the story of Brynhildur, a Balance Keeper who embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Extensive lore and intriguing puzzles, legendary creatures, spellcasting and a special focus on empathy encounters are included.

The Jackbox Naughty Pack announced for Switch

August 1: Jackbox Games made it official today that it’s putting The Jackbox Naughty Pack on Switch. We don’t have a specific date yet, but it’s on track for September.
The Jackbox Naughty Pack is taking the popular Jackbox Party Pack series in a different direction. Three games are included (Fakin’ It All Night Long, Dirty Drawful, and Let Me Finish) and they’re all intended for an adult audience. Each one supports 3-8 players.
