Wii U eShop

LEGO City: Undercover has now launched in North America, meaning you can purchase the game on the Wii U eShop if you so please. There’s just one caveat: the game costs $10 more than most retailers are selling it for.

If you want a digital copy of LEGO City, you’ll need to fork over $60. Meanwhile, retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop are selling the game for $50.

It’s unclear why there is a price increase on the eShop, but keep that information in mind if you plan on making a digital purchase.

As it turns out, Yacht Club Games will likely be bringing its first game to Nintendo platforms.

We found out last night that the studio is working on the 8-bit NES-like project called “Shovel Knight”. While Yacht Club initially didn’t seem ready to announce that the game would be coming to a Nintendo system, the company has since confirmed that it is hoping to release the game on both Wii U and 3DS, through the eShop.

Along with the Wii U and 3DS, Yacht Club Games will be bringing Shovel Knight to the PC.
