VentureBeat has posted a massive interview with Xavier Poix, the main man behind Ubisoft France. The entire discussion was dedicated to Wii U.

Poix shared some very significant information about Ubisoft’s plans for the console. In the Q&A roundup below, you’ll learn about the company’s overall plans for the console, ideas for Miiverse, and more. Poix also revealed that, contrary to what most fans had hoped for, just one GamePad can be used with the system. John Romero not impressed with Wii U

John Romero, best known for his work on Wolfenstein 3D, Doom and Quake, isn’t really intrigued with what Wii U brings to the table.

Romero was asked for his thoughts surrounding the console in an interview with GamesIndustry. However, he eventually said that the system “doesn’t look like it is innovative, and to me the Apple ecosystem is the place I like to live in and the Nintendo ecosystem has stopped their innovating ways.”
