Two Dragon Quest games dated
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Wii | 0 comments
Believe it or not, Dragon Quest X wasn’t the only Dragon Quest news at the Dragon Quest conference. Did I just say Dragon Quest three times?
Square Enix briefly touched on a couple of other titles surrounding the series: Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3 and Fortune Street. Both games have been dated for Japan.
Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3 will be released on November 2 for 6,090 yen. Fortune Street, meanwhile, is due out on December 1 for the same price.
Dragon Quest X might have usage fees
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii, Wii U | 0 comments
It seems as though you’ll be able to progress through Dragon Quest X on your own, but at its core, the title is an online MMO-like project. These types of games are generally accompanied by fees.
At the moment, Square Enix isn’t confirming that “X” will carry a fee. On the Dragon Quest series portal site, however, a row can be seen for price. This line makes note of “price” and “usage fee” on the same line, which are listed as TBA for Wii and Wii U. The fact that “usage fee” is mentioned at all is probably an indication that Dragon Quest X will be a pay-to-play title.
Thanks to Thomas N for the tip!

Square Enix unveils Dragon Quest X
Posted on 13 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 0 comments
Despite being announced almost three years ago, we haven’t heard or seen anything related to Dragon Quest X. Not a single screenshot has been published, nor has a second of footage been released. That’s all changed today thanks to Square Enix’s “Dragon Quest conference” that is currently underway in Japan.
A trailer was just shown and details are expected soon. We’ll have the video for you shortly.
