It’s the start of a new month, which means new rewards are now live at My Nintendo. Here’s what’s new on the European version:

Nintendo.com has updated, and is now allowing players to review Switch titles. Individual game pages should eventually show ratings out of five stars, and possibly the specific reviews as well. We’re not sure if every page has the functionality currently, but many do.

Take Zelda: Breath of the Wild, for instance. Scroll all the way down and you’ll see a section for the user reviews. If you’ve purchased the game under your Nintendo Account and have played at least two hours, you should be able to review it.

While many people are likely still waiting for the popular streaming app to appear on the Switch, Netflix has been available on the Wii U for years. Today, the app received an update, which should download automatically. There are no documented patch notes so it’s not fully clear what this update changes, though it’s likely nothing major. Anyway, it’s good to see that Netflix is still supporting their app on Wii U for those who still use Nintendo’s previous home console as their streaming device of choice.

Yesterday, we heard that the Norwegian Consumer Council sent a letter to Nintendo asking for clarification on how to cancel digital pre-orders or create a way to do so as soon as possible. Essentially, the Big N was accused of operating outside of the law.

Nintendo has now provided a statement, and has indicated that it has done no wrongdoing. The full comment reads: “The operation of Nintendo eShop in Europe is fully compliant with European laws relating to the statutory rights of consumers.”

It’s unclear how the Norwegian Consumer Council will proceed. The Council obviously believes that the eShop pre-order policy needs to be addressed, but Nintendo believes that no changes need to be made.
