Wii U eShop

Rayman Raving Rabbids, the game that kicked off the entire Rabbids franchise, is launching on Wii U tomorrow. Ubisoft is publishing it on the North American eShop as a Wii download for $19.99.

Here’s the overview of Rayman Raving Rabbids from Nintendo’s website:

“Hordes of crazed out-of control bunnies have invaded, enslaving Rayman and forcing him to participate in ‘gladiator’ style trials. Help Rayman win his freedom back by entertaining and outwitting these furry foes. Use the most hilarious fighting moves imaginable. Run races on animals, fight in the arena, or mesmerize the bunnies with your dance moves. You can even milk pigs or engage in plunger shooting madness! The possibilities for fun are endless.”

Rayman Raving Rabbids was a launch title for Wii way back in 2006. At the end of August, the Rabbids will be starring in a crossover with Mario on Switch – Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

Another round of classic games have just landed on the Japanese Wii U eShop. These include Virtual Console games as well as Wii download titles.

Harvest Moon is the new Virtual Console title. As for Wii, PokePark, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles are all out now. We’ve included trailers for each below.

Devil’s Crush was one of the newest titles added to the North American Wii U Virtual Console last week. You can get a look at the game below.

Soul Saga

Disastercake is still chugging away at its upcoming RPG Soul Saga. It’s still coming to Wii U, as we heard in February. Take a look at some new beta footage below.

We previously heard that Revenant Saga is slated for July 6 on the European Wii U eShop. Now we can say the same for North America as well.

Revenant Saga will also arrive stateside on July 6. The RPG will set you back $9.99.

Read up on an overview and view a trailer for Revenant Saga below.

After being turned into an immortal being known as a “Revenant” and learning of the existence of a demon within him, Albert sets out on a journey to make the person who did this to him pay with their very life. However, as he runs into others along the way dealing with their own figurative demons, what is the answer he finds…?

Boasting a story that blurs the lines between good and evil, and plenty of content to go around, this is one title not to be missed! This includes a variety of unique subquests, in-battle transformation systems, as well as a weapon forging system allowing players to make entirely unique weapons as they battle in turn-based battles with 3D animation!

Guns, Gore & Cannoli was originally planned for Wii U. Unfortunately, we were told that those plans were scrapped due to “technical reasons.”

Crazy Monkey Studios informed us that the team ordered Switch dev kits in April. Hardware was received last week, and the team has now confirmed plans for Nintendo’s console. The original Guns, Gore & Cannoli will indeed be brought over to Switch.

Crazy Monkey Studios wrote in a new blog post today:

“Last but not least we have great news for all fans that begged us to let you shoot zombie freaks on the go. Your prayers have been heard: Guns, Gore & Cannoli will be making its way to Nintendo Switch. We received our Switch devkit last week and will be porting Vinnie’s first adventure to the new console. Nintendo was very keen to add the game to their indie line-up and we’re thrilled we’re going to make this happen. Stay tuned for more information.”
