If you plan on purchasing LEGO City: Undercover from the Wii U eShop, keep in mind that a separate hard drive is required. Today’s “Nintendo Download” report contains a side-blurb listing the necessity. No word yet on why such a requirement is in place, but it’s something to consider when buying the game on Monday.

There are lots of references to find in LEGO City: Undercover, including ones that pay home to Nintendo.

Kotaku has a look at one such reference in a video today. You’ll need to head over to the site for the clip, but it basically involves the appearance of a Mario star power-up – music and all. It’s pretty neat.

It is true that seven studios are contributing to the development of Black Flag, but as far as the number of specific people is concerned, Ubisoft won’t say. They’re staying silent on the issue (as they say they always have), which does poes the interesting question of how much the game will have to sell to turn a profit for Ubisoft.

The Fast & Furious: Showdown speculation was spot on. Activision is bringing the game to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U in just a couple of months.

Listings on EB Games Australia’s website indicates that Fast & Furious will launch in mid-May. The retailer specifically lists a May 15 release date for the Wii U version and a May 22 date for the PS3 and 360 editions.

EB Games Australia has also revealed the first Fast & Furious: Showdown information through its product listings. For all of the details, head past the break.

Disney Infinity won’t be making its original June release. The game has been pushed back to August 18 in North America while most internetional territories will be getting it on August 20. A confirmed date of August 23 has been set for the UK.

Speaking about the decision to move Disney Infinity’s release, Disney Interactive co-president John Pleasants said:

“We could deliver in June if we wanted to. Will a two-month timing change help us? Sure, of course. It gives us a little more time to add bells and whistles and make sure it really sings and pops.”

Pleasants added in another statement that Disney hopes “to capitalize on the critical fall retail season.”

“We have moved the launch date for Disney Infinity to August 18 to capitalize on the critical fall retail season.”

A new update has arrived for Wii Street U. Nintendo developer Toshiaki Suzuki posted a message on Miiverse confirming the addition of 12 new spots and control options.

It is now possible to move by pressing the up and down directions on the control pad. Additionally, you can move faster with the A button and look around slowly with the left analog stick.

Visit Miiverse and you’ll come across a new community. Nintendo has added in the “Navigation Center” – home to the “official source for Wii Street U information and tips.” Only Nintendo and Google can make new posts in the community.
