Super Rare Games today unveiled that Dark Deity and Dark Deity 2 are getting the physical release treatment on Nintendo Switch.
Both games will be offered on one cartridge. Super Rare will be making 4,000 copies available in total, and each unit includes a full-color manual, exclusive sticker, and trading cards.

Tin Man Games is putting Fighting Fantasy Classics Volume 1 on Nintendo Switch, the company announced today. This is coming on February 5, 2026.
Fighting Fantasy Classics Volume 1 features digital gamebooks written by Steve Jackson & Ian Livingstone in the 1980s. The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, The Citadel of Chaos, The Forest of Doom, and Starship Traveller are all included.

Fulqrum Publishing and Byte Barrel today nailed down the release date for Forgive Me Father 2. Look for it on January 22, 2026.
Forgive Me Father 2 was announced for Nintendo Switch last April. While the game rolled out on consoles in September, it’s just coming to Nintendo’s older system now.

Organizers of the GDC Festival of Gaming today announced the finalists for the 26th annual Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCA), the premier, globally recognized accolades for peer-recognition in the video game industry. All winners will be revealed during this year’s GDCA ceremony, held on March 12, during the GDC Festival of Gaming in San Francisco.
Any game released and made publicly available during the 2025 calendar year can be nominated for the 2026 Game Developers Choice Awards. Nominees and winners are chosen by the Game Developers Choice Awards-specific International Choice Awards Network (ICAN), an invitation-only organization composed of leading game creators from across the industry.
Donkey Kong Bananza gets a lot of love here, including a nomination for Game of the Year. Other Nintendo-related titles like Hollow Knight: Silksong, Hades 2, and Split Fiction are also represented.
Fans can make their voice heard by voting on the Audience Award from all of this year’s GDCA finalists. Voting can be done here between January 26 and February 8.

December 18: Feral Interactive has announced its first Nintendo Switch 2 release, which is Grid Legends: Deluxe Edition. The game is planned for early 2026.
Grid Legends follows up on Grid Autosport, which previously came to Nintendo Switch. The game “is an all-out racer for Switch 2 that delivers pin-sharp visuals, great performance, and a huge range of cars that will go wheel-to-wheel in 10 high-octane motorsport disciplines across 24 stunning locations.” It will come with all of its DLC, “adding Classic Car-Nage destruction derby, Drift and Endurance modes, new Career and Story events, and additional cars and tracks.”

September 16: Idea Factory will localize Homura: The Crimson Warriors for English release in the west, the company announced today. It will be available in 2026.
The title originally debuted as Kurenai no Homura: Sanada Ninpou Chou on the PS Vita in 2018. A Nintendo Switch version followed in February 2024 in Japan.

Today, Astrolabe announced that it has issued a demo for BlazBlue Entropy Effect X on Nintendo Switch. A gameplay preview has also come in.
The demo lets players choose from Ragna, Es, and Hibiki with access to the first three levels. However, progress will not carry over to the official release later. Those who try the demo will be eligible to receive an exclusive in-game item after BlazBlue Entropy Effect X launches.
