Starting today, Pokemon Legends: Z-A players can obtain a Diancite Stone through the Mystery Gift feature, and a new side mission is available.
The Diancite Stone unlocks an opportunity to encounter and battle the Jewel Pokemon through the extra side mission titled “Shine Bright like a Gemstone.” After claiming the Diancite, players can visit the Looker Bureau, where Mimi the Espurr will take a special interest in the Mega Stone. This leads to an extra side mission. After finishing it, Diance can be added to their team, and the Diancite stone can be used to Mega Evolve it into Mega Diancie, unveiling its radiant Mega Evolution in battle.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A just revealed the latest information about its Mega Dimension DLC, including the reveals of Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur plus a release date. The DLC is due out on December 10, 2025.
For Mega Chimecho, when it Mega Evolves, “six smaller copies appear and flutter endlessly, even when no wind is blowing.” It also has cries in which “the echoes of its copies overlap and resonate, creating an intense sound-wave attack that can overwhelm any opponent.”
Baxcalibur, meanwhile, has more ice energy with its Mega Evolution and uses a back blade that has grown larger and more powerful. The blade “can cleave or smash nearly anything in its path.” Baxcalibur Mega Stone is available from the Z-A Battle Club as a reward for advancing in online Ranked Battles.
