Gemdrops has announced that Kizuna AI: Touch the Beat! will be delayed slightly. Rather than releasing in late April, the game will now be made available on May 25, 2023.

Regarding the delay decision, Gemdrops has stated that it was made “in order to improve the quality of the content” of the game.

Crystar is almost here on Switch in the west, and we have a lengthy look at the RPG with lots of gameplay. A new video has been released with nearly an hour of gameplay.

NIS America has released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming title Crystar, a JRPG developed by FuRyu and Gemdrops. The game is releasing on Switch March 29 in America and April 1 in Europe.

COGEN: Sword of Rewind is out tomorrow on Switch, and publisher Gemdrops has released an overview trailer in anticipation of its release. This 2 minute trailer provides a detailed look at the side-scrolling action gameplay as well as glimpses of the story and characters.

Alongside this trailer, Gemdrops has also released a text overview of the game, to list its specific features:

Ahead of the game’s launch later this month, COGEN: Sword of Rewind has received a new trailer from Gemdrops that highlights various DLC.

Three different pieces of content are planned. Akasha (or Akaza), Yuji Otori, and Copen from Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 will be offered as separate packs. Each DLC makes these characters playable and includes an extra story.

Crystar release date

NIS America has set a western release date for Crystar, the Japanese RPG from FuRyu and Gemdrops. It will be available on March 29, 2022 in North America. For those in Europe, it’s slated for April 1.

Crystar

FuRyu will release Crystar on Switch, according to Japanese retailer listings. The port will be available in Japan starting on February 24, 2022.

Crystar, an action RPG developed by Gemdrops, originally released in 2018 in Japan. Spike Chunsoft then picked the title up for publishing in the west a year later. The Switch version of Crystar has only been announced for Japan thus far, though since it’s already been out in English, it’s possible that a western launch will happen at a later date.

The upcoming side-scrolling action game COGEN: Sword of Rewind has received a new gameplay trailer. This trailer comes with a ton of new details on the game, including that it will have a physical release, DLC with new story, and a Limited Run Games special edition. There was also some unfortunate news that the game’s release will be pushed back to 2022. 

This information comes from the Japanese broadcast BitSummit THE 8th, where the CEO of Gemdrops announced that the game’s release date will be January 27, 2022 in Japan. Additionally, more details about the game were dropped such as the soundtrack being composed by the legendary Motoi Sakuraba, different gameplay features to be included, a quick glimpse at the DLC planned, and the plans for the physical western release.
