A Newegg promotion code slashes $20 off the recently-released Zelda: Wind Waker HD Wii U bundle. Enter “SAVE10SEP25Z” at checkout and you’ll see the discount. Don’t forget about the shipping fee, though…

Also on Newegg, the retailer is taking Wii Party U pre-orders for $40. This is $10 lower than the MSRP, so you don’t have much to lose by reserving the title now.

At least two more games will be joining Nintendo’s digital services tomorrow. The Wii U Virtual Console release for Donkey Kong 3 and the DSiWare game Astro are said to be launching. A number of other titles are also on the way, including Carps & Dragons and Family Table Tennis 3D.

Longtime EA executive Richard Hilleman shared some… interesting words involving Shigeru Miyamoto at D.I.C.E. Europe today.

Hilleman started out by thanking the legendary Nintendo designer for helping younger players learn about video games. However, he then stated that for the past five years, Miyamoto’s role “has been taken over by a dead guy from Cupertino.” That’s a strange reference to Steve Jobs, no doubt.

Hilleman’s quote in full:

“I thank Miyamoto for that, but he’s falling down on the job. And for the past five years that job has been taken over by a dead guy from Cupertino. We’ve asked for too much time, too much skill, and too much money, sometimes all at once. Customers today… are generally looking for a single fabric of play. They want their game where they want it, when they want it, and at a price they can defend to other people.”

Bully may not carry the same weight as Grand Theft Auto, but it’s very much loved among those who have played the game. A sequel is something that fans have requested for several years.

Rockstar isn’t working on a sequel – as far as we know. However, the company’s Dan Houser has interest in creating a follow-up.

Speaking with Polygon, Houser said:

“I know I want to. Well, hopefully, you never know. There’s a lot of directions I could go with that one, it’s funny.”

Injustice: Gods Among Us – Game of the Year Edition has been rated in Brazil. The updated fighter release is listed for Wii U, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS Vita, and PC.

A Game of the Year Edition for Injustice isn’t entirely new. Back in July, Amazon France listed the same product.

New Pokemon X/Y details

Posted 10 years ago by in 3DS, News | 0 comments

You can find a new batch of Pokemon X/Y details below. The latest information was translated from a Japanese magazine by the folks over at Bulbagarden.

– As has been mentioned Pokemon gain experience even when the opposing wild Pokémon is caught
– A caught Pokémon gives the same experience points as a defeated one
– Sky Battles are limited to Flying-type Pokemon and those with the Levitate ability; some moves can’t be used
– There is an adjustment to the inheritance system of breeding
– Ghost-type Pokemon can freely escape from battle without being influenced by Shadow Tag
– The item Exp. Share will revert to Exp. All as in Generation I
– This sees one Pokemon holding the item and participates in battle, but all other Pokemon in the team receive experience as well
– Participating Pokemon receives 100% experience, and non-participating Pokemon receive 50%
– When distributing new moves and abilities, priority was given to new Pokemon
– CGI style is different than Pokemon Stadium/Battle Revolution since those games were supposed to emulate “realism within fantasy”
– Handheld Pokemon games are supposed to be accessible to everyone, so battles were made “cuter”
– Selection process for Mega Evolved Pokemon is based on three points: visual looks, popularity and game balance
– Because Mega Evolved Pokemon are put in the same class of legendary Pokemon, only one Pokemon can hold a Mega Stone during battles
– The timing to Mega-Evolve is selectable.
– Some moves, with focus on special ones, have had their power and accuracy revamped
