Nintendo is now an adopter of Adobe’s Systems’ “Adobe Marketing Cloud”. The technology can be used in the digital marketing space.
Nintendo plans to use the Marketing Cloud on its different channels including the Wii U eShop. The company will be able to monitor online sales from the store, understand consumers’ needs, and grasp user trends. Additionally, Nintendo hopes to use the tech to strengthen communications and content deployment.
Reggie Fils-Aime has sent along a new Swapnote message to North American 3DS owners. A fresh piece of stationary was included, too. It’s a snapshot of the WaraWara Plaza.
In the latest Iwata Asks, Nintendo’s CEO brought along a couple of never-before-seen Wii U GamePad prototypes.

It’s a rather odd contraption. Essentially, the prototype is a Wii Zapper peripheral with a nunchuck and screen attached.
The Iwata Asks discussion explains how the concept came about and how it led to the inclusion of a gyro sensor in the 3DS:

Satoru Iwata sat down with some of the developers behind Nintendo Land for a chat about the game’s development. You can read the Iwata Asks discussion here. There are lots of interesting tidbits as usual, so I highly suggest checking it out.
Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels will be placed on the North American eShop on December 27. You’ll be able to download the classic title for $4.99, most likely.

Other upcoming eShop games include:
Crimson Shroud ($7.99)
Bit.Trip Saga ($14.99)
