Game Boy and Game Boy Color games won’t be the only retro games heading to the 3DS. Reggie’s Fils-Aime revealed a few moments ago that TurboGrafx-16 and Game Gear titles will be available for download. Also, as previously mentioned, classic games in 3D will be placed on the eShop.
Nintendo is pushing out 3DS Wi-Fi connectivity in May. Reggie Fils-Aime just revealed that over 10,000 AT&T hotspots will be available for 3DS owners to connect through for SpotPass data. Additionally, 3DS users can take advantage of Wi-Fi from restaurants, bookstores, coffee shops, and airports.
Satoru Iwata’s GDC keynote is underway, but another Nintendo employee is currently on stage – Nintendo’s Reggie Fils-Aime. The Nintendo of America president just revealed that Netflix content will be provided for the 3DS. It’ll be available this summer. More details soon!
– Movie trailers to be available
– Green Lantern trailer can be seen before the movie hits theaters

A little pre-GDC buzz for you guys…
“IndustryGamers is getting ready to attend this year’s big GDC keynote address: Nintendo President Satoru Iwata. The word going around industry circles is that Nintendo actually has some fairly big news to reveal.” – IndustryGamers article
Is this really true? Or nothing more than speculation? I’m more curious than ever to watch the keynote!
Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata will take the stage at GDC in less than an hour. At the moment, no one can say if anything will be announced, but the keynote should be entertaining nonetheless. We’ll cover any important news (if there is any) as it happens, and you can also watch a live stream here. Will we see a new Skyword Sword trailer? Any new game announcements? We’ll find out at 12 PM EST!
