The latest entry in the best-selling Reel Fishing series brings the most true-to-life fishing experience yet to the Nintendo Wii.

Thanks to _Contra_ for the news tip!

This week’s new downloadable games include a trio of WiiWare™ titles – two built around water-themed challenges and one designed to keep your mental chops in top shape. For Virtual Console™, you’ll find a memorable SEGA character making his return in a classic single-player sci-fi adventure. Rounding out the lineup is a new Nintendo DSiWare™ title that’s sure to have sudoku fans reaching feverishly for the nearest stylus.

– The main character is fifteen-years-old
– The story consists of Seto (the main character) following a mysterious girl that shows up after Seto’s guardian passes away
– Seto and the mysterious girl are among a very few people still left alive on the planet
– Many objects in the environment are used to discover what has happened to the world’s population (For instance, a voicemail features a woman begging to not be forgotten, but the voicemail recording limit expires before she says her name, or an RPG game cartridge is explored, only to find information on the player’s regret of not naming the main character in this adventure)

It’s been quite awhile since we’ve had a true official site update. But today, we have two pieces of information to discuss!

First, Nintendo Everything finally has a twitter. I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge twitter fan. I never was in to the whole thing of following people on there and reading people’s messages. However, registering for a twitter is something that Austin and I have been discussing for a very, very long time. I’m aware that many people use it to get quick updates and the like. And now we finally have one of our own! Here’s the best news: You can receive every single update straight from our account, the minute it goes live on the site. Of course you’ll have to click on the link to find out what exactly the post is about, but twitter is all about short updates…Right?!

This whole twitter nonsense might be a huge bust. But oh well! We’ll be trying to create a more pleasing image from our sidebar in the future. For now though, we’ll see where this twitter business takes us.

I also wanted to briefly mention The Conduit. I’m sure most of you have been enjoying the game the last few days (myself included!) and I’ve noticed that some of you have posted your codes in various comments on the site. To make things a bit more organized though, you can post your codes in this post, or even better, in our forum. We just started a brand new topic dedicated to posting friend codes. There might even be a tournament coming up in the future! So make sure you check out the forum topic here and share your code!

That’s all the updates I have for now. Don’t forget, we posted our Ghostbusters review today as well.

Ghostbusters is considered to be, by many, one of the most recognized movie franchises to have surfaced over the last few decades. Not too many people can claim that they have never heard the film’s main theme song or, at the very least, the phrase, “Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!” It’s been over fifteen years since a video game based on the series was released and with the track record that Ghostbusters possesses, it’s surprising that it has taken so long for a new video game to be released. But it’s finally here – A new ghost-busting game is out and fortunately, the Wii version isn’t too shabby.

It’s important to note right off the bat that this is not a gimped Ghostbusters title. Unlike many publishers who ignore the Wii when it comes to multiplatform titles, it is very clear that Red Fly Studios, in charge of the Wii version, put in a lot of effort in creating a bona fide experience. You’ll see familiar faces along with their original voice actors, you’ll hear the famous Ghostbusters song (although it is underused) and you’ll recognize unique weaponry. No, the Wii version does not feature realistic graphics (which is actually an intelligent design choice). However, the game still manages to hold its own when compared to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions.

Much like the GTA franchise, Kingdom Hearts titles have launched on both the Game Boy Advance and DS, yet there has never been a release for a Nintendo console. But perhaps that could change in the future. Kingdom Hearts creator Tetsuya Nomura, speaking with Nintendo Power in the July edition of the magazine, addressed the possibility of bringing the series to the Wii in some form – and nothing was ruled out. Nomura said that “Once the projects I am involved with have settled to a point, there might be some room to consider that.” For the moment though, he said he has a lot on his plate.

Interestingly, Nomura shared that Nintendo had approached him and presumably other members of Square Enix to create a Kingdom Hearts game for the DS. That’s one of the reasons why work began on 358/2 Days. So maybe if Nintendo used a similar strategy for a Kingdom Hearts Wii title, Nomura could be influenced.
