Admittedly, there is a lack of hardcore games on the Wii. SEGA, however, will partially fix that with MadWorld, The Conduit, and House of the Dead: Overkill. In a recent interview, SEGA expressed sentiments that with the amount of family friendly titles on the Wii, there is an opportunity for hardcore gaming to expand on Nintendo’s system.

“There have been some good hardcore Wii titles. Resident Evil 4 has done reasonable numbers; Red Steel has also performed really well. But since then, many publishers have migrated towards the more mass-market family titles, so perhaps there hasn’t been the array or depth of hardcore titles on Wii.” – Sega Europe North MD Alan Pritchard

“More family friendly titles are being released on PlayStation and 360 as this is a growth area for these formats. Maybe with Wii there’s a reverse opportunity.” – UK sales director John Clark

REVISE AT COLLEGE, WORK OR HOME WITH COMPLETE AND OFFICIAL DSA THEORY TEST QUESTIONS IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND

Avanquest Software Publishing, a leading consumer software and games publisher, will launch Pass Your Driving Theory Test for Nintendo DS in March 2009. It is the essential interactive guide for those preparing to take their driving theory test. All 1265 official DSA questions are included for both cars and motorcycles, with users given the option to customise a revision schedule to fine tune their knowledge.

A theory test costs £30 and must be completed before driving students can take their practical examination. Almost 40% of those taking their theory test will fail*, which can result in having to reschedule a practical driving test. This in turn increases costs, wastes time and adds annoyance to an already stressful situation. For £19.99, Pass Your Driving Theory Test DS is a cost effective tool to ensure a first time pass.
