Time to add more hype to the E3 fire! Even though Iwata has been one of the few Nintendo executives that have been really pumping up the event, it looks as though there could be at least one pretty big game hitting this year and could end up being showcased at E3.

– Verminators set traps to catch Rabbids, but they are actually scared of Rabbids
– levels hide various collectibles
– collect target items for new abilities: use a hospital patient’s oxygen bed to float
– new game mechanics added in roughly every 20 minutes
– target items can help you progress in other environments
– chase, battle, time attack, boss missions
– 15 hours of gameplay
– cutscenes explain missions
– crazy music and slapstick comedy…and fart jokes
– each mission ends with you flushing your goodies down a toilet
– multiplayer, but details not yet revealed
– locations: Airport, Builders’ Yard, Graveyard, Museum, Office, Pile, Supermarket (may be more)

Vienna, Austria, April 15, 2009; Quantic Lab, an experienced Quality Assurance facility committed to bringing high quality PC/Wii/DS games to market, is pleased to announce the completion of their successful collaboration with JoWooD on DS title LifeSigns.

“This eagerly anticpated title for the DS, currently a top seller in the UK, is one of the titles Quantic Labs has had in the works for quite some time,” said Stefan Seicarescu, CEO of Quantic Lab.

“Developed in Japan, the testing procedures for LifeSigns proved to be challenging, but nevertheless a rewarding challenge. Services provided by Quantic Labs for this title exceeded standard testing procedures, our team also worked on adapting the game content to different language versions”. says Marius Popa, Project Manager at Quantic Lab. “This proved to be challenging as the title was first intended for release only in Japan. Fitting and adapting Japanese game design to other languages was very time-consuming. Furthermore the context of the game, a Soap Opera where you live the thrilling life of a surgeon with different paths to solve the game and a high re-playability grade, results in an unusually high amount of text lines, over 40.000, so it needed extended testing assistance” added Mr. Marius Popa.
