A new August 2025 Indie World Showcase is set to air later this week, Nintendo has announced. The presentation goes live this Thursday at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.

Indie World will cover upcoming titles planned for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The event should be about 15 minutes long.

A release date has come in for the Nintendo Switch racer Formula Legends. The game is launching on September 18, 2025, 3DClouds announced today.

3DClouds first unveiled Formula Legends back in April. After initially sharing a 2025 launch window, we now have a proper date.

July 8: Dragami Games has just announced LoveR Kiss: Endless Memories for Nintendo Switch. The game is set to release on November 27, 2025 in Japan with English support.

LoveR Kiss: Endless Memories is an enhanced version of 2020’s romance simulation game LoveR Kiss.

The next update for Deltarune has been released in the form of version 1.04. Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch players should be able to access it now.

This is mainly a bug fix patch – including two specific items addressed in the Nintendo Switch 2 version – but there are some adjustments as well. We’re also hearing that version 1.05 is planned, but it “only contains minor changes” and that could be the final one.

Just a short while ago, Nintendo Switch Online added in new icons for both Wario Land 3 and Wario Land 4.

These are classified as “play to unlock” rewards. That means you need to boot up Wario Land 3 in the Game Boy app and Wario Land 4 in the GBA equivalent before they’re made available. Note that the latter requires a membership to the Expansion Pack tier.

Ratalaika Games is continuing its streak of weekly Nintendo Switch releases, and in just a few days, we’ll be seeing Zooparasite. It’s planned for August 8, 2025.

Zooparasite is a first-person survival horror game in which players will discover the grim secret of the sewers. Although it’s published by Ratalaika, Mascot Bro Studio led on development.

After a few different delays, HeistGeist now has a release date. The game will be available on August 21, 2025.

HeistGeist, which was originally revealed in 2023, was first slated for 2024. Following a lengthy wait, it now looks like we’re just a few weeks away from launch.

Apex Legends was just announced for Nintendo Switch 2 a few days ago, and now we have details on the technical front with information about frame rate and resolution.

Regarding frame rate, EA says players can experience action “up to 60 FPS, depending on monitor/hardware capability and compatibility”. Resolution is 1920×1080 docked and 1792×1008 in handheld mode.
