At the Tokyo Game Show today, Arc System Works and WayForward issued the first trailer for River City Girls 2.
River City Girls 2 builds on the success of the original beat ’em up game. It’ll include online co-op following fan requests, support for Japanese voice acting, and more content in terms of characters, number of stages and items, events, actions, and other elements. More information will be provided at a later date.

River City Girls 2 will release in 2022. The game will initially be sold digitally for Switch, with a physical version to follow later on from Limited Run Games.
