Civilization VI

Civilization VI is still going strong with new content. As part of the game’s New Frontier Pass, it’s been announced that the next batch of DLC is scheduled for January 28.

2K and Firaxis published a video today in which the developers share their vision for the fifth DLC pack. We’ve attached the video below.

BioShock: The Collection

Update: After looking at Automaton Media piece again, we’ve verified that our translation is correct. However, the publication may have mixed up its transcript. The site should have written “GPU” instead of “CPU” for the line: “The CPU’s performance can be changed rather quickly by reducing the resolution and graphics settings, so CPU optimization is usually the priority.”

Last year, new collections from 2K made their way to Switch. BioShock: The Collection, XCOM 2 Collection, and Borderlands Legendary Collection ended up on the platform.

Aside from Borderlands, Virtuos was responsible for everything else. And during an interview with Automaton Media, the studio’s Andy Fong and Lukas Codr shared interesting details about the Switch ports of the BioShock games and XCOM 2. The two spoke about the actual porting process, difficulties encountered along the way, and how long it took to complete development.

Civilization VI

Civilization VI was given its latest update today. It includes the new City-State picker, which lets you choose which City-States you would like to include in your next game and the Searchable Unit List, which will help you search and filter functions in the World Tracker panel to quickly find any unit on the map. There’s that plus lots of balancing, improvements, fixes, and more.

Below are the full patch notes:

A new update has gone out for the Switch version of Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition. According to the official Twitter account, it addresses stability issues some players experienced.

While not mentioned specifically, the patch should take care of a problem with Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary. Some players reported crashes and being unable to start the game after installing the DLC. This new patch should take care of any issues.

Borderlands 2 - Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary

Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition has received a new update on Switch. With version 1.0.1, the Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC can be accessed. A field of view slider has been added as well, and the fast travel menu has been modified with headhunter, DLCs, and more under their corresponding tab.

We do want to mention that there have been reports of crashing and being unable to access the game after installing the update. Some say that downloading the Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC on the eShop (which is currently free) fixes the issue. A more official fix will likely be issued soon.
