Nintendo has opened up the full North American Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam website. If you’d like to give it a look, head on over here. It’ll tell you everything you need to know before the game drops on January 22.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam can now be pre-loaded on the North American 3DS eShop. It’s possible to purchase the game and download most of the data ahead of release. Then on launch day, you’ll only need to apply a small update.

Another digital option is to pre-order through Nintendo’s website. A code will be sent to your email address for redemption on the eShop.

A few members of the Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam development team were interviewed in this month’s issue of Nintendo Dream. The lineup includes producer Akira Otani (Nintendo), director Shunsuke Kobayashi (AlphaDream), and director of battle team Jun Iwasaki (AlphaDream).

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam has been out in Europe since earlier this month, and in just a few weeks, it’ll be launching in the states as well. That means Nintendo of America is starting to get its promotional efforts going, in part with a teaser website located here. I’m sure it’ll be filled with all sorts of content very soon!

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Nintendo of Europe has uploaded a new overview trailer for Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, which you can see below. The game’s been out in European territories for a couple of weeks now, but North American 3DS owners may want to give it a watch!

We all know that Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam lets players obtain cards for use in battle by scanning amiibo. But interestingly, there are also “sparkle” cards that can be obtained by registering two amiibo of the same character. One example would be to use Mario from the Smash Bros. line as well as one from the Mario Party line.
