Dragon Ball FighterZ

Dragon Ball FighterZ was originally announced at last year’s E3. Almost immediately, fans started to ask why there wasn’t a Switch version, and began requesting a port. Those requests will finally be fulfilled when Dragon Ball FighterZ arrives on Switch later this month.

Ahead of the release, Switch Player caught up with the developers to chat about the game. The interview started out with the team being asked about why the Switch edition didn’t appear at the same time as the PS4 and Xbox One versions:

Arc System Works is the latest publisher to reveal its lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2018, which will take place from September 20 to September 23. Arc System Works will showcase three Nintendo Switch games: Daedalus: The Awakening of Golden Jazz, Kunio-kun: The World Classics Collection and The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories.

According to a translation by Gematsu, Kunio-kun: The World Classics Collection will release on December 20 in Japan for Switch. An early purchase nets you the bonus game Hanazono Koukou Dodge Ball Bu. It’s unclear if “early purchase” means a pre-order or extends past the game’s launch

Two weeks after its game was announced for Switch and released a new trailer, developer Arc System Works shared a lot more about The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories. Here is what they posted on their website.

Slice, Dice and Rice

Earlier in the week, Arc System Works brought Slice, Dice and Rice to the Japanese Switch eShop. Since it supported English, we pretty much expected that a western release would be right behind.

Arc System Works has in fact confirmed that we’ll be seeing Slice, Dice and Rice overseas next week – specifically September 6. We have an English trailer below.
