Original (6/26): Atari is planning yet another addition to its “Recharged” series, and today unveiled Quantum: Recharged in partnership with Sneakybox. The game heads to Switch later in 2023.
Quantum: Recharged reimagines the classic forty years since its arcade debut with modern flourishes. The game itself has players navigating waves of enemies with only a nimble ship and a trove of unique power-ups.

Atari announces Haunted House for Switch

Original (6/26): Publisher Atari, along with developer Orbit Studio, today revealed Haunted House for Switch. It will be available later in 2023.
Haunted House is a spooky reimagining of a golden era classic that pays homage to the original survival-horror adventure by seamlessly adopting dynamic roguelite elements while incorporating stealth-based gameplay and haunting boss battles. More information is available in the following overview:

RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures getting updated Deluxe version on Switch

Atari announced today that it’s relaunching RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures on Switch with a new Deluxe version. A release window was not provided.
RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe will feature new content, including 80 additional rides and attractions and some new seasonally-themed rides. Atari is also updating the interface for use with console controllers, and there’ll be an improved coaster builder.

Mr. Run and Jump release date set for July, new trailer

Atari, along with Graphite Lab and Heavy Horse Games, today shared a final release date for Mr. Run and Jump. The game is due out for Switch on July 25, 2023.
Mr. Run and Jump, a new take on neo-retro adventure-platforming, was announced for Switch last month. A general 2023 launch window was initially given.

Atari announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Nightdive Studios.
Atari said the move will allow the company to enrich its large library of owned franchises, leverage Nightdive’s proprietary technology, and use the studio’s publishing capabilities to support Atari’s retro-focused growth strategy.

Akka Arrh getting physical release on Switch

Akka Arrh just recently came to the Switch eShop, and Atari has now announced a physical release for the game.
The company has partnered with Limited Run Games in North America and Numskull Games in Europe. In PAL regions, boxed versions will hit retail stores later this spring, including limited quantities of a special Day One Edition.
