Death's Door physical

Special Reserve Games has revealed not one, but two upcoming physical releases on Switch with Death’s Door and Loop Hero.

Both of these titles are about to be making their debuts on the eShop. However, for collectors, physical versions will be offered a bit later on.

Loop Hero Switch

Loop Hero has secured a final release date on Switch. The old-school adventure game will launch on December 9, publisher Devolver Digital and developer Four Quarters announced today.

Loop Hero was first confirmed for Switch back in August. At the time, it had a vague holiday release window.

Here’s some information about the game:

Death's Door

Death’s Door is coming to Switch, publisher Devolver Digital and developer Acid Nerve just announced. The game will launch on November 23.

Death’s Door, an action-adventure title, originally debuted back in July. It received a great deal of praise, and has been compared to games such as The Legend of Zelda and Demon’s Souls.

carrion physical

A new physical release of Carrion on Switch is coming to retail, according to various store listings.

It’s true that a boxed version of the game was offered last year. However, that was only through Special Reserve Games. This is the first time that we’ll be seeing it at most major retailers.

Carrion, a reverse horror game from Devolver Digital and Phobia Game Studio, first debuted on Switch in July 2020. Read a bit more about the title below.

Loop Hero

Loop Hero is on the way to Switch, Devolver Digital and Four Quarters have announced. We’ll be seeing it this holiday.

Gris

Gris previously had a physical version through Special Reserve Games. Now just like Hotline Miami Collection, there will soon be a more widely available release at retail.

Gris has popped up on Amazon, and it looks like copies will include a couple of bonuses. Buyers can expect double-sided artwork and an exclusive artwork booklet.

The retail release of Gris is tentatively planned for October 1. Pre-orders are open on Amazon here (those in the UK can find it here).
