Fire Emblem Fates

Nintendo has revealed that Fire Emblem Fates allows for a same-sex marriage. In a lengthy statement, the company said that this will be possible between the player-created character and another character in the game.

Additionally, we have official confirmation that Fire Emblem Fates will be sold as two products in North America. The two versions are called “Conquest” and “Birthright” in the west. There are also plans to distribute a third story as DLC.

Fire Emblem Fates launches in Japan this Thursday. The North America and European release is scheduled for 2016.

Black Kingdom starting classes

 

  • Dark Prince/Princess: Royalty that uses Dark Kingdom equipment, and the power of a dragon within them.
  • Cavalier: Horse-mounted units that can fight using swords and spears.
  • Knight: Heavy armored foot units. They are slow but have high defense.
  • Fighter: Axe-wielding units with high HP. They have high strength but poor defense.
  • Mercenary: Balanced statistics, with high skill.
  • Thief: They use bows, and have high speed and magic defense.
  • Wyvern Rider: Soldiers mounted on Wyverns. They have high strength and defense.
  • Dark Mage: Mages that perform dark magic to take out enemies.
  • Rod Knight: Staff-users that don’t have much fighting powers, but support allies using a staff.
  • Garu: A werewolf class that excels ins strength and speed.
