Jupiter brought Picross S to Switch awhile back. Despite that, the developer isn’t finished with 3DS.

Jupiter announced today that Picross e8 arrives in Japan on December 20. It’ll cost 500 yen.

Picross e8 players can take on another 150 puzzles. For those with save data from Picross e, Picross e2, or Picross e3, more puzzles can be challenged.

Next week, Jupiter will be bringing Picross S to the Switch eShop. We’ve posted a trailer for the game below.

Over the past few years, Jupiter has created several Picross e games for 3DS. After the series reached 500,000 downloads on Nintendo’s dedicated portable, the studio is now turning its attention to Switch with its first release for the console: Picross S.

Picross S will contain 300 puzzles in Picross and Mega Picross modes. 5×5, 10×10, 15×15, and 20×15 puzzle sizes are included.

Picross e7 launches tomorrow on the North American 3DS eShop. As for Europe, we now have confirmation that it’s coming next week. Jupiter will release the game on December 22 for €5.00.

Here’s a look at the eShop listing:

It’s been well over a year since the last Picross e game graced the western eShop. Next week, Jupiter is fixing that with Picross e7. It’s set for launch on December 15 in North America, an eShop listing reveals.

Picross e7 contains a number of features, such as the new Mark function that allows players to leave indicators on squares they are unsure about without risking a penalty. It’s also possible to switch input modes by simply pressing the Circle Pad or d-pad once. Finally, it’s the first game with 20×15-size Mega Picross puzzles.

Picross will cost $5.99 upon release. While we don’t have any news for Europe yet, it wouldn’t be surprising if Jupiter had something to share soon.

Picross e7 has now launched in Japan as a new 3DS eShop title. For a look at the game, check out the video below.

My Nintendo members in North America and Europe are starting to get their hands on the service’s exclusive Picross game based on Twilight Princess. Watch an hour of footage from My Nintendo Picross – The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess below.

My Nintendo Picross – The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was made available as a My Nintendo reward in Japan this past week. Some footage of the download has now emerged – see the video below.

The 3DS is getting another Picross entry from Jupiter based on a specific Nintendo game. Later this month, My Nintendo Picross – The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be launching.

This news originated from Twitter user Cellenseres, who found My Nintendo Picross – The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess sitting on Nintendo’s servers (U.S., U.K.) – similar to how Twilight Princess HD was leaked last year. This would be a reward for the My Nintendo service launching later this month. What was uncovered lists a tentative March 31 release date.

This leak also comes with the 3DS icon and main menu screenshot. There are options for standard “Picross”, “Mega Picross”, and “Micross”. Also included is a “How to Play” area, plus icons for Miiverse and settings.

If we hear anything additional about My Nintendo Picross – The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, we’ll be sure to let you know.
