During a segment on the Kids’ Choice Awards 2017 tonight, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was heavily featured. The cast of School of Rock was on hand to promote the upcoming racer. Check out the recording below.

Krysta (from Nintendo Minute!) stopped by the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards Orange Carpet last week to catch up with some celebrities on all things Nintendo. Check out the full video below.

Mario and Luigi were on hand at the 2016 Kids Choice Awards earlier tonight. The two famous brothers appeared in CGI form to help present the winner for “Favorite Voice From An Animated Movie”. There was more to it than that, however.

Before the winner was announced, the cast of Nickelodeon’s Game Shakers appeared for a live-action sequence that involved jumping over Goombas and hitting coin blocks. They ultimately needed to finish the level and grab the envelope from the flagpole.

In other news, viewers chose Just Dance 2016 as their favorite video game. It beat out Super Mario Maker, Disney Infinity 3.0, Minecraft: Story Mode, SpongeBob HeroPants, and Skylanders SuperChargers.

Voting is now open for the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards, and Super Mario Maker is among the nominees for “Favorite Video Game”. Disney Infinity 3.0, Minecraft: Story Mode, SpongeBob HeroPants, Just Dance 2016, and Skylanders SuperChargers are also among the possibilities for the award.

The 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards will air on March 13. We’ll know then which game was chosen by the fans!
