The Thing Remastered physical

Today, Nightdive Studios confirmed plans for a physical release of The Thing: Remastered on Nintendo Switch. It will be available on June 25, 2025.

The game will be available just by itself, but fans looking to go the extra mile will also be able to secure a Deluxe Edition. Those that go for the latter will receive a physical copy of the title, a special box, steelbook case, key art poster, Captain Blake’s ID card replica, and sew-on patches.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster

Nightdive Studios is developing System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster for Nintendo Switch, the company revealed today. The release date will be shared during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase.

This project was originally known as System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition. The remaster is a modernized edition of the 1999 classic sci-fi horror action role-playing game.

The Thing: Remastered 1.1 update

Today, Nightdive began distribution of a new version 1.1 update for The Thing: Remastered.

There’s quite a bit packed into the patch. On Nintendo Switch specifically, it comes with performance improvements. Players will also find bug fixes, new trousers for Whitley, and more.

Killing Time Resurrected physical

We previously saw Killing Time: Resurrected digitally on Nintendo Switch, but now there’s a physical release happening as well. This comes courtesy of Limited Run Games.

The company currently has plans for just a standard version. No special editions have been announced at this time.

Nightdive is closing out the year with yet another release, which is The Thing: Remastered. You can purchase it right now on Nintendo Switch.

The Thing: Remastered was one of the many game announcements that took place over the summer. Thankfully, Nightdive met its 2024 launch window.

Killing Time: Resurrected update 1.1

Killing Time: Resurrected received a new update, and it’s moved up to version 1.1 on Nintendo Switch.

The patch b rings along a new wave of features and improvements. One of the highlights is that players can now burn enemies to cinders with fire attacks. A special “Duncan Chase” mode has also been added.

The Thing: Remastered

June 7: The Thing: Remastered is in the works and will be released on Switch, Nightdive Studios just announced. It will be available later in 2024.

The Thing: Remastered marks the return of the cult-classic 2002 third-person survival horror shooter inspired by Universal Pictures’ 1982 film. Through the KEX Engine, Nightdive is increasing the resolution and frame rate while also improving character models, textures, and animations with advanced 3D rendering for updated lighting and atmospheric effects.

Killing Time Resurrected trailer

Nightdive shared a launch trailer for Killing Time: Resurrected. Originally released in 1995, the cult-classic horror boomer shooter has made a comeback on Switch.

PO'ed: Definitive Edition physical

PO’ed: Definitive Edition previously landed on Switch digitally, but now a physical release is happening. Limited Run Games unveiled plans for the boxed version today.

At least for now, PO’ed: Definitive Edition will only be sold standalone. Limited Run Games’ website does not mention any special editions.

Killing Time Resurrected release date

We’ve been waiting to hear about a release date for Killing Time: Resurrected, but it looks like the game isn’t very far off. The game popped up on the eShop with a new listing, which pins it down for October 17, 2024.

Killing Time: Resurrected, which was announced for Switch in June, brings back the classic first-person shooter. Nightdive reworked the visuals for this edition.
