Pikmin 4 is now the best-selling game in the series

Pikmin 4 has taken the crown as the series’ new best-selling game. With it launching in mid-July, that was done in about two months.
As revealed by Nintendo’s latest financial results, the title has sold 2.61 million copies worldwide. That’s as of September 30, 2023.

A new update has just gone out for Pikmin 4, with Nintendo starting distribution of version 1.0.2.
Several different bug fixes have been addressed here. With some of these, Nintendo advises downloading the patch and reloading save data. Also, Nintendo added in a progress bar to loading screens.

Original (7/20): Pikmin 4 icons are now here on Nintendo Switch Online tying in with the game’s launch.
New waves will be appearing each Thursday until August 10. Each set includes characters, backgrounds, and frames. The current icons include different type of Pikmin, the Oatchi, and more. Boot up the Nintendo Switch Online app on the Home Menu to access them.

Kung Fu Tea and Nintendo team up on Pikmin 4 promotion

Original (7/10): Kung Fu Tea announced a partnership with Nintendo today in which the two sides will be promoting Pikmin 4 with a new drink flavor, Pikmin themed cups, lids, and more.
For those who haven’t heard of the company, Kung Fu Tea is America’s largest bubble tea brand. For the Nintendo partnership, there’ll be a limited-time only drink inspired by Pikmin. The flavor will be available nationwide, alongside new Pikmin themed cups that feature the iconic Red, Yellow, and Blue Pikmin. Those who try out the flavor will receive an exclusive straw cap while supplies last.
