Pokemon Duel

Pokemon Duel has been updated with the Ground Gym Cup. All Ground-type Movement 1 and 2 figures get an increase of 1 for movement and Water-types getting an Attack increase of 20 for each attack.

The Ferligatr Figure is being handed out as a prize for completing the cup. When the event finishes, trophies will be available that can be displayed on your ranking screen. The cup lasts until June 21.

Pokemon GO will be undergoing maintenance tomorrow. After it’s complete, yet another balance patch will be issued.

Changes will be made to the following figures:

Pokemon Duel players now have access to some new content. The game was updated with the Dark Gym Cup just a short while ago.

With the cup, all Dark-type Movement 1 and 2 figures have an increase of 1 for movement and Fighting-types get an Attack increase of 20 for each attack. The Darkrai Figure is also provided as a prize.

The cup lasts until May 6 at 04:59 UTC with Booster Redemptions until June.

Pokemon Duel’s latest update is now live. Players should be able to download Version 3.0.9 on Android and iOS.

On the official app patch notes it simply notes that there have been “bug fixes”. Figures have also been impacted to improve balancing. You can read about the changes here.

Update: New EX figures have also been added: Terrakion, Cobalion, and Noivern.

As usual, the official patch notes for today’s update state that bug fixes have been implemented. Some figures have also been impacted to improve balancing. You can read about the changes here.

A balance update will be applied to Pokemon Duel after the regular maintenance tomorrow. Several Steel and Rock types will see some changes to their moves and stats.

Aggron:

  • Counter replaced with Heavy Slam
  • Metal Claw replaced with Roar
  • Iron Tail’s damage increased from 90 to 120

Armaldo:

  • Ability Battle Armor replaced with Swift Swim (increases movement by 1 when adjacent to Water Pokemon)
  • Added Aqua Jet as a move
  • Iron Tail’s damage increased from 40 to 70
  • Decreased size of the Miss bar

Skarmory:

  • Removed one Air Cutter piece and replaced it with the smaller Swords Dance
  • Increased size of the Steel Wing Piece

Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Rhyhorn, Magnemite:

  • Decreased size of the Miss bar

The Water Gym Cup in Pokemon Duel is now available, provided you’ve downloaded the latest update. The big draw is [EX] Kyogre, which can be obtained from gym boosters or after victories.

For the duration of the event, all Water-type Movement 1 & 2 figures get an additional 1 movement and all Grass-type figures get a boost of 20 to each of their attacks.
