Anodyne 2: Return to Dust physical

It’s been a couple of years since Anodyne 2: Return to Dust first appeared on Switch, but it’s now seeing the physical treatment. Limited Run Games is readying the title through its distribution line.

The initial launch for Anodyne 2: Return to Dust happened back in February 2021, but only via the eShop. More information about it can be found below.

Chasing Static gameplay

New gameplay is now available for Chasing Static, a PS1-inspired psychological horror game. A half hour of footage has been published.

Chasing Static release date delay

Chasing Static has been delayed again on consoles, with the Switch version now having a final release date of January 12, 2023.

The game, a retro psychological horror experience, was announced for Nintendo’s system towards the start of 2021. It was planned for release later that year, but was eventually delayed to Q1 2022.

Chasing Static has been moved back on consoles, and will no longer be making its previously-announced Q3 2021 release window. We’ll now be seeing it on Switch in Q1 2022.

Chasing Static technically hasn’t been delayed, as it just debuted on PC this week. However, it’ll be a bit longer until Ratalakia Games and Headware Games are ready to go with the Switch version.

Gleylancer

Back in 1992, Masaya and NCS Corporation released Gleylancer on the SEGA Mega Drive. It stayed exclusive to Japan until the Wii Virtual Console version in 2008. Now thanks to Shinyuden and Ratalaika Games, the title is returning on Switch.

Greylancer is a horizontal scrolling shooter. The Switch port will have improved modes with accessibility features, including translations for the cutscenes and modern controls.

Virtuous Western

Ratalakia Games and Nibb Games are putting the puzzle game Virtuous Western on Switch this week, the two sides announced today. A release is planned for September 3.

To close out last week, Ratalakia Games and DarkChibiShadow put the adventure visual novel One-Eyed Lee and the Dinner Party on Switch, and a gameplay video has now come in.

Ratalaika Games, along with DarkChibiShadow, today announced that One-Eyed Lee and the Dinner Party is heading to Switch this week. The adventure visual novel is due out digitally on August 27.

Barry the Bunny

Ratalakia Games and lightUP today announced that Barry the Bunny, a 2D platformer, will be appearing on Switch this week. The game is lined up for an August 13 launch.
