Rogue Company service ending

Hi-Rez Studios and First Watch Games announced today that they’re ending support for the Switch version of Rogue Company. This is expected to happen on June 20, 2023.

In a blog post, it was mentioned that “the performance of our Switch port was not up to our standards, and we were unable to provide the level of support our players deserve.” Removing resources from Nintendo’s console “allows us to provide players on other platforms better support & focus for their specific issues, as well as deliver updates with more flexibility and frequency whenever needed.”

Rogue Company Rambo

Hi-Rez Studios is no stranger to crossovers, and the company today announced that Rogue Company has teamed up with Rambo.

The new partnership comes about in collaboration with Lionsgate and Millennium Media. Players can now become John Rambo from Rambo (2008) with a character outfit for Seeker, and there are dozens of thematic rewards available through an in-game event.

A new update is now available for Rogue Company. The third-person tactical action shooter has added a new Vice map, Deserter system to dissuade leaving matches, and more.

Cross-play and cross-progression will both be supported in Rogue Company at launch. That means users across all platforms can join up online together and progress will be carried over no matter where you play.

Additionally, Rogue Company will run at 60 frames per second. That’s similar to both Smite and Paladins, which are already available on Switch.
